Cory Silkman is an experienced professional license defense attorney who represents healthcare providers and other licensed professionals throughout Maryland. He is recognized by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel and has successfully represented over 800 individuals and businesses.
Mr. Silkman began his legal career as a medical malpractice and license defense attorney at a prestigious law firm in downtown Baltimore. He was entrusted with multi-million dollar litigation involving some of the largest healthcare providers and networks in Maryland.
With over twenty years of experience as a registered nurse, Mr. Silkman now focuses his law practice on assisting individual healthcare providers and other licensed professionals with licensing board investigations, hearings, conferences, appeals, license reinstatement, credentialing, privileging, and complex litigation matters. He has an excellent reputation before the boards.
He graduated from Yale University with honors, and went on to earn his law degree from the University of Maryland School of Law--one of the top law schools in the country.
Mr. Silkman is a published author and has presented on the national stage in various legal matters. He is also a Director on the Board of Directors at Edenwald, a continuing care retirement community in Maryland.
