Social Work Board Decision Appealed
The Firm Filed an Appeal on Behalf of a Social Worker

Silkman Law now represents a social worker who was denied the opportunity to defend herself and her license at an evidentiary hearing held by the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners. The Board conducted the hearing in her absence and revoked her license.
Following the Board's decision, Silkman Law assumed representation and filed a petition for judicial review in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. The lawsuit alleges that the Board acted unlawfully and violated the social worker's constitutional rights by failing to provide actual or constructive notice of the disciplinary charges, and the notice of hearing.
Silkman Law represents healthcare providers throughout Maryland. If you have an issue with your licensing board, call 410-415-9158 today.
