Professional license defense attorney Cory Silkman successfully defended a massage therapist against false allegations of rape and fourth degree sexual assault.

A massage therapy client made allegations of rape and sexual assault to police and the board. The board summarily suspended the massage therapist's license and forced the closure of the massage therapy business.

Cory Silkman vigorously defended the massage therapist at the summary suspension hearing and presented facts that resulted in an interim consent order.  That order allowed the massage therapist to resume practicing with some license restrictions.

After several months of thorough investigation and dismissal of all criminal charges against the massage therapist, Mr. Silkman filed a motion to lift and terminate the interim consent order.  The board granted the motion and allowed the massage therapist to return to work without any restrictions, limitations, or supervision.

Nurse lawyer, and professional license defense attorney, Cory Silkman, Esq., successfully defended a nurse against allegations that she used another nurse's Pyxis code to divert controlled substances.

The Maryland Board of Nursing received a complaint from a hospital alleging that the nurse conspired with another nurse to share Pyxis usernames and passwords to access drugs. Mr. Silkman, an experienced nurse lawyer and registered nurse, closely examined the evidence and found that management and senior nurses on the floor deliberately falsified information that they had submitted to the board.
